Today marks day one of my nine classes here in Durban and environs. We (myself and 12 assistants) will prepare lunch for fifty. They wanted international, so we give them international! Our menu is as follows:
Rustic Carrot & Ginger Soup
Israeli Chickpea Croquettes (Falafel)
Chickpea and Sesame Paste Dip (Hummus bi Tahina)
Mediterranean Rice Salad (Insalata di Riso)
Indonesian Fruit Kebabs with Hot and Sweet Dipping Sauce (Rujak Manis)
So it's full speed ahead. Talking of fruit, and heads, can you guess the fruit the young African girl above is carrying?
