Saturday's cookery class at Govinda's in Darlinghurst was our last for the year. The attendance was intimate (meaning not a huge attendance) but 16 students meant a lot of room to move and a very relaxed atmosphere.

Margaret commuted down from Sydney's Blue Mountains for the class. She made short work of our delectable soy and sweet-chili seared fresh panir steaks.

Kim did a professional job of the barbecued asparagus. Definitely a bloke's job. Chuck another veg on the barbie, mate!

Carrie-Ann is an engineer and really got a huge buzz out of cooking the poories, especially since all of them puffed up and stayed puffed up. Every one a winner!

As always, the best part was lunch. Mighty filling!

Here it all is, minus the dessert. See you next year, Govinda's!
