No dusty trails for me today, but "I'm off to Mona Vale" (yes you can sing the "Caissons" song if you're American, feeling patriotic, and know the words).
I'm catching two buses and one train to visit 'Foodstuff', a Gourmet Food/Cookery School in Mona Vale, a suburb of Sydney's Northern Beaches.
Our menu for tonight's cooking class:
Kurma's Vegetarian World Classics
Hot 'n' Bitey Tex-Mex Cheddar & Jalapeno Chili Biscuits
Turkish Rice Pilaf with Currants and Pine Nuts
served with Cream-infused Delhi-style Fruit- & Chili-Stuffed
Panir Dumplings (Malai Kofta)
Oven-Roasted Cauliflower & Stir-fried Snow Peas with Cashews
served with Fresh Crisp and Puffed Fried Wheat Breads (Poories)
Creamy Cardamom-infused Condensed Yogurt Dessert with Pistachios and Saffron Syrup (Shrikhand)
