No, I haven't been marching the streets, twirling batons.
Outdoors on Parade is in fact a homewares store and cookery school situated at the upmarket end of The Parade in Norwood, a fashionable suburb of Adelaide.

My class at OOP on Monday evening was a memorable one, as is always the case at my favourite South Australian venue.
The event was jam-packed with 36 eager attendees seated comfortably around little picnic tables. As the class progressed, they were treated to course after course from my specially selected menu, cooked on the spot before their eyes, as is my practice in this sort of event.

We started the night with an entree, Lemon-infused Dubai-style Salad of Fresh Dates, Toasted Turkish Bread, Almonds, Bitter Greens, Fresh Herbs & Feta.

Next came our Malaysian Vegetable-stuffed Flaky Curry Puffs served with
Succulent & Spicy Eggplant Pickles. Yummo!

By the time we got our third tasting for the night - Orange, Currant and Pecan-studded Canadian Wild Rice & Basmati Pilaf served with Seared Chili Panir Steaks with Sweet Potato Mash & Rocket Salad - the group were totally absorbed.
The fourth and final tasting of the night, Indonesian Fruit Skewers with Hot, Sour and Sweet Peanut, Lime & Tamarind Dipping Sauce (Rujak Manis) rounded things off nicely. All the guests went home very happy punters.

I'll be back next May. Book early to avoid disappointment!
