I flew into Adelaide yesterday afternoon. Managed to take a picture of a portion of the city skyline from the plane.

My hosts Burt and Jeni picked me up at the brand new airport and drove me to the fabulous Central Markets, where we shopped for our special culinary weekend. The produce at the markets was truly exceptional.

After loading our van with lots of fresh produce we drove for 2 hours, wending our way to the beautiful Clare Valley.

My hosts run a 50-acre vineyard and guesthouse - my home for the next two days as I prepare an 8-course degustatory luncheon for 50 guests on Sunday.

Excuse the brevity of this account. Running to the kitchen now.
