One Hour in Warsaw

There was a change of plans and my driver took me to the Warsaw Hare Krishna Temple for a breakfast feast.

Breakfast is over, and the car is revving for our long drive North to the sunny Baltic Coast. It's very hot in Poland at the moment - 33 degrees Celcius at noon today, and warmer weather predicted. Coastal breezes up North will make it more tolerable there.

Ok, off we go...I'll report from my seaside residence soon.

In the Gutter

Yesterday evening, before leaving Belgium, I tried to do some emailing, but all systems were down. I urgently needed to re-send some shopping lists to Poland for tomorrow's class (the originals were lost in cyber-space), so what to do?

Someone suggested if I walk up the street I might be able to pick up some unsecured wireless connections. Highly naughty of me, but it was an emergency.

in the gutter:

I finally found a connection in a carpark in the village of Durbuy, so there I sat, in the gravel gutter, and did my emailing, trying to look oblivious to the stares, and cars, that came and went.

The show must go on!

Off to Poland

I fly to Poland this morning, departing Brussels on an early flight, and arriving in Warsaw at breakfast time. But there'll be no time to 'polish off' any brekky, since I'll be whisked away by car to drive the seven hours North to the sunny Baltic Sea coast, where I'll be cooking for the next 10 days. Stay tuned for Kurma's Baltic Coast Adventure.
