A group of eight teachers from the Canning District Education Office here in Western Australia joined me for a team-building cookery class lunch. They requested an Indian-style menu. This is what we cooked, all in 3 hours.
Moghul Spicy Rice with Saffron (Pullao)
Toor Dal with Tomatoes and Fresh Coriander
Mixed Vegetables in Creamy Gujarati-style Karhi Sauce
Bengali Chickpea and Cauliflower Curry
Simple & Sublime Gujarati Pumpkin
Elegant Puffed Fried Breads (Pooris)
Dry-roasted Pappadams
Hot & Sweet Eggplant Pickles
Cardamom-scented Rice Pudding (Kheer)

They all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and suggested they would like to do it again next year.
