Welcome
to our Bhakti Vaibhava homepage.

This is a picture of the
presiding Diety of our Melbourne Bhakti Vaibhava course, Kunja Bihari. He is a
Govardhana-sila, and He mercifully resides in our classroom during our course
to benedict the teacher and the students.

The goal of
studying the Srimad Bhagavatam is to be able to realize Sri Krishna through the
hearing of His pastimes as they are described in the Tenth Canto. In order to
hear these pastimes appropriately, one must first systematically study the first
nine cantos, so that one’s heart will become properly purified. Then one can
relish hearing Sri Krishna’s pastimes without any tinge of mundane attachment.

So it is
most appropriate that we have Kunja Bihari as the presiding Diety of our Bhakti
Vaibhava course, because many of Sri Krishna’s intimate Vrindavana pastimes take
place on the side of Govardhana Hill. We thus consider ourselves most fortunate
that Sri Krishna’s greatest devotee, Giriraja Govardhana has mercifully agreed
to manifest within our classroom, so that we may be constantly reminded of what
the ultimate goal of our studies are.

Srila Prabhupada Ki Jaya!

Giriraja Maharaja Ki Jaya!

Grantaraja Srimad Bhagavatam Ki Jaya!

Ananta koti Vaisnava Vrinda Ki Jaya!

Nitai Gaura Premanande Hari Hari Bol!
