Ratha-yatra in Melbourne 2008

Hare Krishna!

We had an exciting day of celebrating the Lord Jagannath’s Ratha-Yatra 2008. Lord Jagannatha looked very happy.We gathered all the devotees at 139 Swanton Street, Melbourne (Gopal’s Pure Vegetarian Restaurant) in morning at 10:30 AM. The devotees were very enthusiastic.Then we started walk around the city for approximately 90 mins with lots of devotees from various places in Melbourne. Also there were huge supports from the local people, joining to our spiritual rally. Everyone was pulling out their mobile phones and digital cameras and taking shots of the devotees and enjoying the atmosphere.

We had special feast today. The feast was really tasty.
