Daily Class - Navina-nirada Prabhu

Harinama, prasadam distribution, and book distribution are the heart and soul of sharing Krishna consciousness with others.

Navina Nirada das joined ISKCON in 1984 in Zurich, Switzerland. He served as the Minister of Book Distribution for several years. Navina Nirada is travelling worldwide to give regular seminars and workshops about the art of preaching and book distribution. Drawing from his 24 years of experience, he shares realisations, different styles of book distribution,strategies and tricks of the trade.

‘Srila Prabhupada had asked to be kept informed of the burgeoning book distribution in Australia. On receiving one particularly glowing report from Madhudvisa (in 1973), Prabhupada wrote:

“Your book selling report is very encouraging to me, so much so that I want to go there immediately...
Krishna has given you great opportunity to preach the Krishna Caitanya cult in that remote part of the world. The time was there some years ago, when Australia would not allow any coloured men to enter, but now you have allowed Caitanya Mahaprabhu to enter Australia and inundate the whole country with hari-nama sankirtana.Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s another name is Pita Barana Gaura (Lord Caitanya, whose complexion is golden), so by your combined effort I hope that one day Pita Barana Gaura will rule over Australia.

I think that Australia is a great field for these activities, as it is evident from the book sales, statistics gradually increasing. I am very much encouraged in this respect…I am very much encouraged to note how you have increased the book distribution and are becoming the number one distributor in the world…”
