Manoj Prabhu has just finished redesigning the Mayapur Academy's website for Nrsmha Kavaca Prabhu, and would like devotees everywhere knows that this academy exists:
Srila Prabhupada established ISKCON to achieve specific goals. One of his important goals was to produce a class of brahmanas able to provide spiritual guidance to the world.
There is still a pressing need to train devotees dedicated to brahminical culture, able to serve the brahminical and spiritual needs of ISKCON communities. Srila Prabhupada stated, “There must be colleges to train students to become brahmanas.” Mayapur Academy is a response to this need and is dedicated to instilling brahminical values, skills and knowledge in students with a focus on lifetime commitment. The Mayapur Academy offers an outstanding range of innovative courses for devotees interested in developing their skills and ability as pujaris and brahmanas.
The ‘Diploma in Arcana' presents a relevant and challenging response to current demands of deity worship and brahminical services in ISKCON. The coursework is offered by some of the finest and most qualified devotees in their fields...The Mayapur Academy is open to all initiated devotees. Course units are presented as three or four classes per day for four months (approx 160 classes). The course begins November 10, 2008 and continues until the beginning of the Mayapur Festival, Gaura Purnima, 2009.
The new website gives viewers a window into the nectar of learning in Sri Mayapur Dhama. Take a look!
