Tuesday, April 15, 2008Yesterday afternoon we celebrated Lord Rama’s Appearance Day. Hundreds of
devotees queued for Sita-Rama-Laksman-Hanuman’s transcendental
darshan. Our special guest Madhudvisa Prabhu led a sweet kirtana for Their
Lordships’ pleasure as They were offered an abhiseka of milk products and fruit juices. The devotees jumped again and again for fruit garlands discarded by Their Lordships. Agile dancers enthused the kirtaneers.
Acintya Rupa Mataji and Sri Gaura Prabhu’s team of sevaites laboured to
prepare opulent bhoga to please Sita-Rama-Laksman-Hanuman. After Their Lordships' offering had been completed, everyone
eagerly honoured Their Lordships remnants.
On a slightly different note, please take the opportunity to join this week’s CBD Harinama parties (Wednesday 3:30pm., and Friday 5:30pm.). Madhudvisa Prabhu, whom Srila Prabhupada called ‘the king of kirtan’ is looking forward to taking part. So please come and enthuse him with your presence.
