Here are the times for Her Grace Urmila Devi Dasi's seminars on Raising Children in Krishna Consciousness. There are two sessions, both in the theatre tomorrow. The first runs from 10:00 to 11:30am, the second from 2:30 to 4:00pm. Don't miss this unique opportunity to hear from and to question a
devotee with thirty years of experience, both as a Krishna conscious
teacher and as a parent!
Michelle Lim, from Melbourne University’s Psychology department, is doing
a study on well-being: This is an opportunity for researchers to
understand something about living in a spiritual community like ours.
In the 60s and 70s many people thought that living in a regulated community was detrimental to a person’s health and well-being. However recent research in the United Kingdom – with which devotees were also involved – showed that membership of a spiritual community like ISKCON is not only beneficial, but actually enhances a person’s feeling of well-being.
We’d like to encourage everybody to participate in this research. Everyone who takes part will be paid $20 in exchange for one and a half to two hours of your time.
For details, read our earlier post: ‘Why is Non-conventional Spirituality Beneficial?’
