FOLK News
Sarva-mangala has some new items for sale in the shop. Here's something that looks interesting. Embroidered bedspreads, each unique. They look like hand-made embroidered saris. No two are identical.
- Bedspreads
- Queen-size $130
- Single $65
- Floor Cushions $30
- Clutch Purses $15
We've also just received the limited edition printing of Srila Prabhupada's original Srimad Bhagavatam. 2 sets only $100 each.
...and multicoloured( one-size fits all) flounced cotton gypsy skirts $65 each.
His Holiness Prabhavisnu Swami arrives tomorrow for a five day visit. He'll be giving classes in the morning and I suspect leading the odd lively kirtana or two after greeting the Deities. We'll be preparing for our national annual general meeting which is to be held at Otford later this month. I'll be driving up to Sydney on Sunday week for the occasion.
Janananda Prabhu also rang yesterday to arrange a short visit at the end of May. He arrives on the 26th and will leave on the 30th.
He's at it once again! Bhaktimarga Swami, 53, a Canadian born monk, or sannyasi, of the Hare Krishna religion, is endeavouring on his second cross-Canada walk, seeking to get in touch with his own personal and spiritual roots -- and to underscore the need for fellow Canadians to stay in touch with their own spirituality. He calls it, "a spiritual healing walk for Canada."
