One thing I forgot to mention in my post yesterday. The three classes
Bhurijana Prabhu will give at the Retreat are part of a five part series. He
will give three at the farm and the final two are scheduled for Wednesday
and Friday evening next week after the evening arati at 7.30 pm. Keep those
dates free for the finish of the series of lectures.
From Brisbane...
Smaller religious groups have welcomed a proposal to change laws that would allow parents to decide who offers spiritual instruction to their children in schools. The changes, to be enacted this year in Queensland state schools, came despite protests from Christian churches worried about marginalising religion in schools. But groups such as the Hare Krishnas say giving parents and students wider alternatives would encourage tolerance.
