Uddhava Bandhu Prabhu sent me a couple of shots from the weekend's Bhakti-vrksa Workshop held on Friday and Saturday. Prema-padmini then went on to deliver her presentation in Brisbane on Sunday and Monday to return to the Middle East Monday night. She was on a tight schedule.

We received a comprehensive overview of what Bhakti-vrksa is and how to apply the process in our own preaching. We now have a list of new team leaders who are keen to start their own regular programs.

Bhakti-vrksa Workshop

One thing I forgot to mention in my post yesterday. The three classes Bhurijana Prabhu will give at the Retreat are part of a five part series. He will give three at the farm and the final two are scheduled for Wednesday and Friday evening next week after the evening arati at 7.30 pm. Keep those dates free for the finish of the series of lectures.

Retreat Classes - Stop Press

From Brisbane...
Smaller religious groups have welcomed a proposal to change laws that would allow parents to decide who offers spiritual instruction to their children in schools. The changes, to be enacted this year in Queensland state schools, came despite protests from Christian churches worried about marginalising religion in schools. But groups such as the Hare Krishnas say giving parents and students wider alternatives would encourage tolerance.
