We didn’t get a mention but you can get an idea of the parade yesterday from this article. From TheAge.com.au ...

... Moomba's ambassador -- Neighbours actress and Rogue Traders singer Natalie Bassingthwaite -- helped give Moomba a voice yesterday, amid fears it would be drowned out by the Commonwealth Games build-up. The traditional Melbourne City Council Moomba festival, which includes an international water-skiing event and the cult Birdman Rally competition, was scrapped because of the Games. But the $500,000 parade, which lasted an hour, went ahead at the controversial insistence of Lord Mayor John So. About 1500 participants, the most ever, used everything from African drums and Spanish castanets to Scottish bagpipes to make themselves heard. The council estimated about 100,000 people turned up to watch, down on last year's attendance.

From DNA India; Mumbai...

Holi has an added significance for the devotees of Krishna. It marks the appearance in this world of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. In 1486, he descended in Mayapur, in the Nadia district of Bengal. Vedic literature, especially Mahabharata and Srimad Bhagvatam prophesise the descent of the Supreme Absolute Truth, Sri Krishna, in the dark age of Kali as Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. In this incarnation, the Lord has come not as God, the all-powerful, but in the guise of a perfect devotee of God to teach us how to worship Him, how to love Him and how to serve Him.
