Preferred fence design idea

We showed him pictures of fences we would like to copy for our new replacement fence. After viewing shots of numerous fences we settled on one idea for a design. Buddhimanta just sent me a snap of the proposed design which is going to save us a lot of money. It is less than a quarter of the price we were quoted if the work was done here.

I called our engineer yesterday and he is going to draw up a detailed plan of what we want so the manufacturer has very specific instructions to work from. I am pretty happy with the work they do and it will be ready within a week. After that it will take at least a month till we see the finished product here, possible a few weeks longer but even if the shipping is double the cost of construction we will have saved quite a bit of money.

I mentioned progress on the fence to one of our supporters yesterday and he immediately gave me a contribution of $1100 to help pay for construction. Next week Christian is hoping to complete the irrigation system and lay the grass in the front lawn by Wednesday. We won't be able to walk on it for a few weeks while it all settles down but it will start to look pretty good.
